Makuharitoyosuna Station

A new place to relax a while before continuing on your way
Situated halfway between Shin-Narashino Station and Kaihimmakuhari Station on the Keiyo Line, Makuharitoyosuna Station opened on March 18, 2023.
It marks the first time in 25 years that a new JR East station has been built in the prefecture.
The construction is one facet of a project intended to reduce congestion, improve accessibility for users, and revitalize the city as a whole.

Kazusa-Ichinomiya Station

Welcoming, comforting, and harmonized with the community
Kazusa-Ichinomiya Station serving a coastal town with a historic atmosphere
This is a result of the station’s renovation project, planned in association with the designation of the Tsurigasaki surf beach, located about four kilometers away, as an international competition venue. The overall facility, both interior and exterior, has undergone a major facelift as the town’s gateway for welcoming new visitors as well as providing a comfortable setting to local residents.

A new neighborhood serving as an open city oasis that anyone can stop by and enjoy
Located midway between Tokyo and Yokohama, Kawasaki has played an important part in the development of Japan’s manufacturing industry. Backed by this legacy, the city is now embarking on a new stage of its journey as it evolves into a hub of arts and culture, leading-edge industries, and research and development.

WATERS takeshiba

Waterfront hub for cultural and artistic expression pursuing a new source of richness
In Tokyo, Takeshiba is located six minutes’ walk from JR Hamamatsucho Station. This district, which retains the historical appearance of the Edo era, was selected for the WATERS takeshiba project (the Project) with the aim of creating a new source of vibrancy by taking advantage of the waterfront location.

New landmark for Yokohama, a city at the forefront of the new era
In 2009, Yokohama, a major international city, announced the Excite Yokohama 22 plan to make the region more attractive to its residents and visitors. The Yokohama Station West Exit Area Redevelopment Building Project was selected as a leading program to fulfill the mission of this plan, through creating a new landmark for Yokohama, a forerunner of the new era.

Nagano Station Zenkoji Exit Area Development Project

New gateway to Shinshu, a region replete with history and tradition
The Nagano Station Zenkoji Exit Area Development Project has two missions: to equip Nagano Station, a gateway to the Shinshu region, with a regional promotions hub with a view to taking advantage of opportunities afforded by the 2015 extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line to Kanazawa; and to create an important iconic property for the area. Both of these missions are related to the new town redevelopment centering on Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple.
